ALEXANDRIA, VA - Historically a center of commerce and industry for the entire region, Alexandria has faced increasing pressure to redevelop dwindling warehouse in alexandria space. This trend is exacerbated by the city’s proximity to Washington, DC and its close connection to the waterway that once fueled the economy.
What is a 3PL company?
Located on the waterfront in Old Town, one of the last remaining warehouses at 10 Duke Street will be transformed into a market, tavern and event space concept launched by restaurateur Noe Landini. Known for his concepts, including Landini Bros in Old Town and Junction Bakery & Bistro in Del Ray, he has been chosen by Murray Bonitt of Bonitt Builders to transform the historic building.
The new restaurant concept will be called Cooper Mill, a nod to the former mill on the site which made wooden barrels for the Alexandria Flour Company at the Pioneer Mills. The tavern will feature grab-and-go breakfast foods, coffee, sandwiches, soups and prepared food items from Landini’s restaurant concepts, as well as beer and wine.
