Trace the universal appeal and immediacy of water and the heavens in the works of such composers and lyricists as Stephen Sondheim, Reynaldo Hahn and Bill Monroe. With songs that range in style from classical to contemporary, jazz to jive, and musical theater to Motown, six musicians and special guest artists pave the way for an imaginative and entertaining survey of childlike dreams, romantic desires and untold mysteries.
